Mrs. Olive Catherine Hermon, 95, of Blanchard Township Hancock County, died in her home at 5:40 p.m. yesterday following a long illness.

Born in Richland County Nov. 15, 1864, she was a daughter of George and Sarah (Hersh) Alexander. She came to Hancock county when a girl.

She was married to Robert Marshall Hermon Sept. 14, 1881 and he died Jan. 11, 1935.

Surviving are four sons, Charley, Leipsic; Dallas, Rawson; Clyde, Lambertville, Mich.; and Donald, at home; four daughters, Mrs. Alice Reed, McComb; Mrs. Ocie Shafer, Bluffton rural route; Mrs. Nellie Rollins, Lambertville, Mich.; and Mrs. Grace Dukes, Mount Cory.

There are 17 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Two daughters, Mrs. Carrie Mueller and Jessie and two sons, Wallace and Clark, are dead. she was the last of a family of 11.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Coldren Funeral Home, the Rev. Willard Kerley, pastor of the McComb Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in McComb Cemetery.
