Joy Arthur Johnson, 75, died Friday.
Born in Horry County he was a son of the late Albert Jackson and Beadie Ann Johnson. He was a member, honorary deacon and former choir director of the First Baptist Church.
Surviving are his widow Mrs. Susie Jane Shelley Johnson; daughters Mrs. Clark (Jocelyn) Ross and Mrs. Billy (Janet) Pirkle of Conway; brothers C. Robert Johnson of Galivants Ferry, James Lauris Johnson of Conway, sisters, Mrs. Euna Mae Jenerette and Mrs. Madeline Palassis of Charleston; grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 4 pm Sunday at Goldfinch Funeral Chapel with burial in Aynor Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Mercy Hospice of Horry County.
