Frieda Jorgensen, 94, a lifelong resident of Kimball, died at the Kimball County Manor on Monday, May 11, 2009.
Memorial services were held on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at the Cantrell Funeral Home in Kimball with Pastor Donella Silveira officiating. Inurnment was held on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at the Kimball Cemetery.

Frieda Jorgenson was born in Kimball on November 12, 1914, the daughter of Peter and Dorothea (Klamm) Strauch. She attended school in Kimball and graduated in 1932. She attended Beauty School in Denver, worked as a beauty operator in Kimball and later owned her own beauty shop. She was married to Wesley Jorgensen in Kimball on January 1, 1950. Frieda was a wonderful cook, loved to do crafts and was a bird watcher. She enjoyed caring for her nieces and nephews as they were growing up.
Survivors include her brother Walter Strauch of Kimball; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Herbert, Edward, Carl, Harry and Albert; sisters Inez Pebler, Evelyn Strauch, Dorothea Strauch, Florence LeMay and Leona Wendt.
