Also living with the family was Josephine Kerr, age 13, listed as Other.

Mary Martin died on July 3, 1901 and was buried in the New Bells Run Church in Bells Run, Ohio County, Kentucky. Her husband George M. Martin joined her there after his death on March 8, 1925. He was buried there as G. M. Martin.
