He was a parishioner of Saint Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church in Lodi, a member of the Lodi Old Timers, a former American League President, a coach and an umpire. Beloved husband of Jeannette (nee Bonin) Sclafani. Devoted father of Janice Fiscina. Treasured son-in-law of John Fiscina. Loving grandfather of Julienne and Jeffrey Fiscina. Dear brother of Salvatore Sclafani of Wallington, Vincent Sclafani, Anna Arigo and the late Bella Oliveri, all of Lodi. Visitation was offered on Wednesday, October 4, 2000 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Santangelo Funeral Home, 300 Main Street, Lodi, NJ 07644. The funeral was arranged in the funeral home on Thursday, October 5, 2000 at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass conducted at 9 AM in Saint Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church, 125 Union Street, Lodi, NJ 07644. Interment followed at Saint Mary's Cemetery in Saddle Brook.
