DAYTON — Cora D. Walker, 88. Robinson's Nursing Home,
Dayton, died Monday at the home. The funeral will be at 2 p.m.Thursday at the Hubbard-Rogg Funeral Home chapel
with the Rev. Willis Clark officiating.Burial will be in the family plot in the Dayton City Cemetery. Mrs. Walker was born June 9.1888. at Covello, in Columbia County, the daughter of Samuel English and Melissa Paul, pioneers in the valley. She grew up in Covello, attending
rural schools. She was one of 12 children, all of whom
preceded her in death. She married Crit Walker
June 1, 1907. Walker died January 25,1976. The Walkers
lived most of their lives in "Columbia County, except for a
short time when they farmed near Havre, Mont. Mrs. Walker has made her home at the Booker Annex of Dayton General Hospital for the past five years and just recently moved to Robinson's Nursing Home. She is survived by her daughters, Okal Lathim, Othello, Hazel Rowe, Dayton, and Georgia Dell McHargue, Dayton; her sons, Earl Walker and Lesta Walker, both of Dayton; 18 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death in 1964 by a
daughter, Dora Flaten.

Pasco, Janice, Stanley, Arline, and Beverly; Lesta of Dayton, two daughters, Lawana and Lorriane; Georgia, Dell (McHargue), Dayton, one son, Larry."
