BANGS - LLOYD F. Bangs of Junction city passed away April 17, 1989, at the age of 80. He was born November 12, 1908, in Elmira, Oregon, and was married June 10, 1939, in Bandon, Oregon, to Bernice Hansen. Lloyd was a member of the Elmira Grange and the Elmira Oddfellows Lodge. He was a lifetime farmer and a longtime school bus driver for the Fern Ridge School District. He is survived by his wife, Bernice Bangs of Junction city; his children: Carolyn Blodgett and her husband, Bill of Denver, Colorado, Larry Bangs and his wife Carol of Junction City; his sister, Lola Rosado of San Leandro, California; his grandchildren Brian and Becky Bangs of Junction city; his nephews: Douglas and Dean Harmon of California and several cousins. Funeral service will be Thursday, April 20, 1989 at 10 a.m. in LANE MEMORIAL GARDENS FUNERAL HOME, 5300 West 11th Ave., Eugene. Vault interment will be in Lane Memorial Garden. Those who wish may make memorial contributions in Lloyd's memory to the Applegate Pioneer Museum in care of the funeral home. ~~~
