Thurza Dora Blatchford is the daughter of John Blatchford and Susanna Blatchford (nee Williams). According to the 1900 census, she was born February 1856, although it indicates in her obituary she was born about 1851.

Obituary from the Daily News, McKeesport, Allegheny Co., PA, Tuesday Evening, February 25, 1930:

Mrs. Thurza Barrickman, 79, of Dravosburg, widow of Peter Barrickman, died at 6 a.m. yesterday as the result of a stoke suffered Jan 2.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. May Boyer of McKeesport; three sons, William, James and Edward of Dravosburg; three sisters, Mrs. Thomas Williams, Mrs. Mattie Arnold, Mrs. Hannah Lewis and a brother, Daniel Blatchford.
The funeral will be held from the home of her son, William, of Washington avenue, Dravosburg, at 2 p.m. Wednesday in charge of Rev. Woolett, pastor of Amity Presbyterian church. Burial will be in Richland cemetery.
