State hospital on May 15. 1929. He
had been suffering from "gangrene
of the left foot for two years and
had the left leg amputateda few
weeks ago.
Funeral services were held at the
home of his mother on Saturday, the
Knights of Pythias and Reverend.
C. C. Perkins having charge. He is
survived by his widow, Mrs. Augusta
Vickers of Charleston; Mrs. Elizabeth
Vickers; his mother, sons, Ellis, of
Alt. Hope. Oscar and Kenton; one daughter,
Mrs, Marie Muncay of Huntington:
brothers, Williaim, Charles, Tom,
and Laird, of Montgomery, Benjamin
of Mt. Hope, and one sister, Mrs. E.
S. Gress.
