Lois is the daughter of John and Lois (Tilton) Fellows of Sandown, N.H. She married December 31, 1818, Moses Rowe. Lois' father was an early settler on Bridgewater Hill and was a Revolutionary soldier from New Chester.

Her brother Abner, who married Elizabeth Prescott are also buried in this cemetery.
