Albert price of Coal City Dies
Albert W. Price, aged 72 years, retired farmer of Coal City, died yesterday at the Evansville state hospital. He was born in Clay County and was the son of Wm. L. and Elizabeth Middleton Price. He is survived by a brother, Frank Price and a sister, Mrs. Cora Duncan, of Colorado.
The body was taken to Schoppenhorst Funeral Home at Clay City where funeral services will be Friday afternoon, burial at the Winters Cemetery near Coal City.

Price had been sentenced to prison and later paroled for acting as an accomplice to his wife Anna who shot a neighbor named Hayden. After his parole, he was committed to the state hospital at Evansville. He had a daughter, Bertha Mae, with Nancy Turley who died in 1902, though they were not married. He later married a widow, Anna (Harris) Bowles.
