Thomas HB Jones was born January 22, 1840 near pickeryville, Perry co., Illinois he was the son of Laban G Jones & Sarah (Harris) Jones. He would be married 3 times. His first wife was a sister to James Joshua Miller who was Margaret A. Miller she being born in 1842 in Macon co., Illinois they were married in 1860, she died on the 27th of November 1889 at the age of 47. To this union were born five children. Lauretta Angeline b: 20 Aug 1861 died 30 May 1911; Wm Enyart b: 1867 died 22 Sept. 1897; Savannah Ellen, b: april 1873; Sarah Emaline b: 25 May 1874 - 1957 and Mary A Jones b: 1881 - 21st December 1895 at the age of 14. After Margaret's death he then married a Nancy Ellen Lesle who was born 28 Beb. 1857 near Denver, Mo, she died March 1892 and is buried in Hoblet Cemetery. Her father being George Washington Lisle and mother was Nancy lucenda Vasser. she too had been married twice, of this union brought a daughter was born, Margaret Lee Jones b; 23 Oct. 1891 near Denver, mo. and d: 14 Feb 1972. After the death of his second wife he then married another widow, Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth (Alder) Bridges who had but a young daughter Hattie Love Bridges. Sarah was born 1847 and died 12 March 1912 they were married June 12 1892.
