According to research he was born in Elizabethton, Carter County, TN to Jesse and Nancy Lovelace Adams. He was married to Delilah Stover. He was killed by bushwackers during the Civil War near Independence, MO. None of the family knows where he was buried "if" he was even buried in any cemetery. This is my husband's 2nd great grandparents.
