She was raised there and married Clarence Chapman, Dec. 23 1917 in Protem, Mo. They came to Cashmere in 1953 and worked in the orchards until his death in 1971. She moved to Everett in 1973. Mrs. Chapman was a member of the Assembly or God Church in Cashmere and Marysville.
Survivors include four sons, Earl of Rogersville, Ted of Lynnwood, Roscoe of Springfield, and Paul of Seattle; a brother, Sterling Harper, Florida; two sisters. Clemmie McCormack and Maudie Martin, both of Oklahoma; 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren.
