Madalene R. Washausen, 90, of Calumet City, IL, passed away on Saturday, March 27, 1999. Survived by loving son, James (Gayle) Washausen of Calumet City; three grandsons; James Washausen of Calumet City; Kevin W. Washausen of Chesterton; and Bryan Washausen of Calumet City; several nieces and nephews and a sister-in-law, Lois Smith of Chicago. Preceded in death by loving husband, William C. Washausen in 1971 and brother, Warren Smith.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, March 31, 1999, 11 a.m. at the Burns-Kish Funeral Home, 5840 Hohman Ave., Hammond, IN. Burial at Cedar Park Cemetery, Chicago. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Mrs. Washausen was a former employee of Carson Pirie Scott in the Woodmar Shopping Center; a 50 year member of the Eastern Star and member of Phi Omega Club of Hammond, Donations may be made to your favorite charity in her loving memory. She will be dearly missed by her loving family.
