Eleanora "Ellie" Snyder, 89, fell asleep in the arms of the Lord on January 8, 2009. She was married to Karl Yohnke until his sudden death in 1944. She married Michael G Snyder in 1948. They were married and lived in Southwest Toledo for over 55 years. Eleanora was a hard-working, treasured homemaker for over 60 years. She was also a founding member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. She had a life-long devotion to her Catholic faith and will always be remembered as a role-model for friendship, unselfishness, and generosity to strangers, family, friends, neighbors, and church. Eleanora was preceded in death by husband, Michael; her son, William; sister, Frances Fuchs and brother, Albert Fox. Surviving are children, Carl (Linda), Maureen (Roger) Drewes, Michael, Timothy (Kathy), Marilyn Lykins, John (Karen), and Robert; sister, Helen Mullikin; sister-in-law Angela Fox. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
