Funeral services for L.O. Nixon, 70, Ben Wheler, were held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 from the Ben Wheeler Baptist Church, with interment in the Tidmore Cemetery.
Officiating ministers were Rev. H.C. Funderburk and Rev. Neff.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. L.O. Nixon of Ben Wheeler; three sons J.C. Nixon, L.L. Nixon, and James R. Nixon, all of Lubbock; two daughters, Mrs. John Pickering of Houston and Mrs. Cletus Pyron of Baytown; one brother, Earl Nixon of Ben Wheeler; four sisters, Mrs. Huey Dike of Dallas, Mrs. S.C. Leavell of Ben Wheeler, Mrs. Cary Thomas of Lubbock, and Mrs. Jewell Henderson of Star City; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
