Mrs. Marie Webb, 71, 328 Patterson Ave., died at 2 a.m. Sunday at St. John's Medical Center where she had been a patient 12 days.

Mrs. Webb was born May 23, 1902, at St. James, Mo. She moved to Joplin 18 years ago from Carterville. She was a member of College Heights Christian Church. She was married to John S. Webb, who died Oct. 22, 1971.

Surviving are two sons, Howard Webb, Joplin Route 1, and Harold Webb, San Antonio, Tex.; three daughters, Mrs. Phyllis Dorsey, Joplin Route 7, Mrs. Faye Jarnigan, Joplin, and Mrs. Maxine Flowers, Webb City; a brother, Dan McPhail, Los Angeles, Calif; a sister Mrs. Kate McKee Oklahoma City, Ok; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be a 2 p.m. Tuesday at Johnston-Simpson Funeral home, Webb City, B.A. Austin and Gene Weece, ministers will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
