Lois Irene Oels, aged 82, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2015, in Mountain Home. She was born February 2, 1932, in Mountain Home to Walter and Della (Taylor) Douglas. She married Robert G. Oels September 28, 1948, in Mountain Home. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Oels is survived by a daugther, Roberta Vaughan of Mountain Home, a son, Douglas Oels and wife, Sherrill, of Mountain Home, a sister: Laverne Collins of Mountain Home, a brother: Bryan Douglas and wife, Mary, of Mountain Home, two sisters-in-law: Yvonne Ross of Mountain Home and Lois Hopper of Springdale, grandchildren: Aaron Oels of Mountain Home and Brian Adams of Longmont, Colorado and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a sister: Jo Ann Sisney.
The family would like to say thank you to the Hospice of the Ozarks House for taking such good care of their mother for the past seven months. Mountain Home is truly blessed to have this facility; they do a tremendous service for our community. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of the Ozarks.
Memorial service will be private.
Arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home.
