"ILLNESS" THE GROUND. - Ida Frances Yager was granted a decree of divorce from Sherman Yager in Department Five of the Superior Court yesterday. The pair were married May 27, 1904, and went to live in one of the desert borax camps. After a few weeks Mr. Yager announced that he was ill, and must go to San Bernardino for treatment. As he did not return in two weeks, his wife followed him and discovered that the "treatment" was such as is not generally dispensed from drug stores except in temperance towns. For ten days the same treatment continued in spite of Mrs. Yager's protests. She then left him. Recalled to San Bernardino some months later by a telegram from her husband stating that he was dangerously ill, she found his illness to be the same old complaint. Finally she concluded to sue for divorce.
