Cherokee Daily Times - Tuesday , December 2nd, 1952 - Mrs. John K. Abbott, 46, died
Monday about 10:30 p.m. quite suddenly after a heart attack. Her home was at 314 Reddington Avenue.
Mrs. Abbott is survived by her husband, three daughters and three grandsons. Daughters are: Mrs. E.L. Machowski, Washington, IL, and Mrs. Kenneth Anderson and
Mrs. Wayne Schmidt, both of Cherokee. She is also survived by two brothers and three sisters. They are: William Powell, Ft Lupton, Colo.; Earl Powell, Cherokee; Mrs. Blanche Conley, Cherokee; Mrs Alice McDonald, Bartonville, IL.; Mrs. John Robinson, Marcus.
Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. from Boothby Funeral home with Rev. Carl Benander officiating. Burial is to be in Meriden cemetery.
