ALDER FUNERAL WAS HELD TODAY
Interment Took Place In Mount Olivet Cemetery
Funeral services for J. B. Alder, aged 51, who died from injuries sustained in a fall yesterday were held today.
The services were conducted by Reverend Ernest Quick, pastor of the Baptist church, with interment taking place in the Mount Olivet cemetery.
Mr. Alder sustained the injuries which resulted in his death when he walked off the end of a scaffold in the building between Babcock Brother's and the Hugo Creamery, yesterday afternoon, while working on a new ceiling for the structure.
His skull was fractured and death resulted about an hour later at his residence.
According to information Mr. Alder with his family came to Hugo from Dodge City, Texas [s/b Dodd City, Fannin Co, TX], in 1915, and since that time he has been engaged in the carpenter work.
Beside his immediate family he is survived by a sister Mrs. Polly Martin and A.J. Alder [s/b A.L. Alder], a brother, both of Texas.
Snow Funeral home had charge of the funeral arrangements.
