Miss Mary Leighton
WASHBURN -- (PNS) -- Miss Mary Elizabeth Leighton, 93, died at 11 p. m. Wednesday at the Atteberry Nursing Home in Washburn.
She was taken to the Rickett Funeral Home where services will be held at 3 p. m. (CST) Saturday, with the Rev. E. L. Fernandes officiating. Visitation will be Friday afternoon and evening. Burial will be in the Olio Cemetery, Eureka.
She was born Feb. 25, 1862 at Groveland, Ill., the daughter of Silas and Harriett Nichols Leighton.
Miss Leighton is survived by one sister and one brother, Mrs. Maude Davidson, Washburn, and Robert Leighton, Washington. Five brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church for ten years.
