James A "Pete" Adair of Godley died Monday at his home He was 72.

Funeral will be at 2 pm today at Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield Funeral Home in Cleburne. Burial will be in Godley Cemetery in Godley.

Mr Adair was born in Lancaster and had lived in Godley most of his life He was a retired truck driver and was a member of Godley Masonic Lodge No 822 Mr Adair served in the Merchant Marine during World War II.

Survivors: Wife Mary Adair of Godley one son James Adair of Decatur two daughters Julie Cloud and Paula Morrison both of Godley mother Gertrude Adair of Keene nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren
