Clinton Moyer was born in LaGrange County, IN. He lived and worked in that area until about 1908 when he joined his family in Beaver County, OK. The family had moved to Oklahoma Territory in 1904 where his father John E. Moyer had homesteaded ca. 1905. Clinton farmed, delivered US Mail by horse and buggy and taught in rural school in Beaver County. He married Nora Hunt on Aug. 25, 1912 in Beaver County. To this union two children were born, George E., in 1914 and Virgil L in 1916. Clinton farmed in Beaver County and worked whereever he could find a job. In WW2 he worked at aircraft factory in Fort Worth, TX; building B 24 bombers. In later years he operated a small convenience store near Choctaw, OK.
