Services for Louise Adamson, 85, of Murfreesboro, who died Friday, Sep. 3, at Boulevard Terrace Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. The Revs. Charles Ray and Kevin L. Barrett will officiate. She was the daughter of the late William and Sarah Black Handley and the widow of Ollie Adamson. She is survived by a son, Elmer Adamson; a daughter, Virginia Barrett; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A native of Florence, Ala., she was retired from the restaurant business and was a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
