Married T. E. [T. L.] Stevens in Mississippi when she was 21 years old; he preceded her in death on May 25, 1907. To this union was born 8 children:

"Rosa Lee, Tom, Ed, Clyde, Vera (Mrs. A.P. Thompson), Bertha (Mrs. S.R. Beatty), Anna Mai (Mrs. J.T. Gray), all of whom survive her, except Rosa Lee and Beulah, who went to their heavenly home at the age of two and five years respectively."

They moved to LA early in their marriage, settling for a time in the Evergreen community; They moved to the Gums Springs community on Dec. 18, 1905.

Rev. C.C. Walker conducted the services.
