COFFMAN, CECIL EUGENE, born Aug. 24, 1924, died Oct 16, 2003 in Veterans Hospital in Murfreesboro.
He was a retired Naval Officer. He enlisted March 3, 1943 and retired with hororable discharge on March 2, 1973. After retiring he made his home in the Clarkrange area for about 20 years. He moved to Mt. Juliet about three years ago after the death of his wife Judy.
He was preceded in death by his wife Julia Reilley Coffman and parents, Ella and Tom Coffman of Lancing.
He is survived by one sister, Ruby Howard of Deer Lodge; two half-brothers, Charles Henry of Knoxville and James Henry of Grimsley; one half-sister, Clella Davidson of Sunbright; stepsister Irene Larue; also of Sunbright and many loving nieces and nephews. He was a kind and loving man and will be greatly missed. [Morgan County News]
