EVANS, Ga. - Bobby Gene Shore, Sr., 61, of Evans, GA, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends on May 28, 2009. Bobby was the beloved husband of Marianne 'Honey' Shore for 26 years. He also leaves to cherish his memory sons, Michael Shore (fiancŽe Corenda Brummett), David Shore, Sean Alpert, Jeremy Alpert and Seth Alpert (Julie), as well as daughters Missy Alpert and Laura Poindexter (Anthony), and grandchildren Justin and Scott Alpert and Amber and Brandon Poindexter. He was predeceased by his son, Bobby Shore, Jr. He also leaves behind his brothers Butch Shore (Syd) and John Shore (Christine), and sister Debra Shore. Bobby touched many lives in his work as a paramedic at the University Hospital Ambulance Service and as a registered nurse, most recently in the ER Observation Unit at MCG Health. Family and friends are welcomed to visit at King Funeral Home on Friday, May 29th from 6 - 8 pm. Funeral and burial will be on Saturday, May 30th at 10 am at Bellevue Memorial Gardens on Wrightsboro Road. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
