Aunt Mattie was the dear wife of my Dad`s Father`s brother. She was kind, warm, easy to get along with - a very religious woman. In her final days, Aunt Mattie was taken care of by my Aunt Pearl, her sister in law. She passed away at a relatively early age.

Mrs. Martha C. Ray
Services for Mrs. Martha C. Ray, 67, of 2431 Ormsby Ave., will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Chalfant-Perry-Klaehn Funeral Home, the Rev. David Colgan officiating. Burial will be in Rose Lawn Cemetery, Terre Haute. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 to 9 p.m. today.
A native of Clay County, Mrs. Ray died at 9:15 a.m. today at her home. She had lived in Fort Wayne 40 years.
Surviving are her husband, Donald; two sisters, Mrs. Jeanette Berer, Valparaiso, and Mrs. Ann LaRoache, Clinton; and four brothers, John Spence, South Bend, and William, Edward and James Spence, Clinton.
