Revolutionary Service - Private in Connecticut Militia. Authority as to Medad Butler's services are Charles Butler, his son, now ninety-four years old of New York City, and his daughter, Harriet Butler Holmes, now eighty-six years of age of St. Louis, Missouri. This information was given on a membership paper for the DAR dated 1896 for Mrs Anna G Fresbee, national number 13625.
