She was a retired 4th grade teacher. Survivors; daughter, Mildred (James E.) Bush, granddaugter, Susan Bush (John D.) Helms, grandchildren; Heather Helms, Peter Helms, John Helms, Matt Helms, and a great-great-grandchild, James Helms. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, November 17, 1998 at Frederick's Chapel with Dr. Tim Thompson officiating.
