-----------
Charles Alan Soverns, Jr. was born to Kathy and Chas Soverns, June 2, 1966, in Everett. He passed away August 28, 2006, in Leavenworth, Washington.

His joy and delight in life were his two beautiful daughters, Analisa and Kayla, and his soul mate, Sherri, whom he married in October 2003.

Their home was filled with love and the family especially delighted in the times when they could all be together celebrating each other, and carrying on traditions like eggnog cookies and sleepovers with the cousins at the Enzian Inn.

After graduating from Western Washington University he secured a job with the city of Everett as their Safety Official. In September of 1995 Charlie became an Everett Fire Fighter where he strived to serve citizens with his strong sense of duty and honor. He recently passed the test to begin training at Harborview to become a Fire Department Medic this fall.

There are many on earth that rejoiced in Charlies' life and will forever miss him, including his wife, Sherri; daughters, Analisa and Kayla; parents, Kathy and Chas; sister and family, Shelly, Dan, Jessica and Amanda; maternal grandmother, Helen Kluge; paternal grandparents, Don and Esta Lee Hodgeman; his aunt, Avis Cory; cousins, Claudia, Jim, Sheila, Phil, Casey, Linda, Susan and Michelle; his cherished in-laws, Marlene and Darrell Walls, and Sid Treherne; brother and sister-in-law, Dan and Michelle Treherne; nephews, Austin and Brett; along with many other devoted friends both within the Everett Fire Department and within our community. And we must not forget his faithful companion, Sadie-Boo.

A Memorial Service will be held at 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, September 5, 2006, at Gold Creek Community Church, 4326 148th Street S.E., Bothell (Mill Creek area).

In lieu of flowers, a fund has been set up to assist with Analisa and Kayla's education. Donations may be made at any branch of the Bank of America to the Memorial Education Fund for Analisa and Kayla Soverns.
