Mrs. Alma A. Bowers died Feb. 15th 1907. She was born in Trumbull, Ohio, in the year 1836 being the eldest daughter of Rev. E. V. Bowers. She was married in 1885 and was the mother of three children, two of whom have preceded her to the great beyond leaving only one daughter, Mrs. Bernice M. Hunter, to mourn the loss of her beloved mother.
For the past six years, Mrs. Bowers had resided with her daughter, in Alanta, Ga. In April 1906 they came to Bartlesville I. T. where Mr. Hunter was temporarily located. Mrs. Bowers enjoyed remarkable health for a lady 70 years of age, and during the summer she visited her sisters in Indiana, going to Geneva, Ohio, in September, spending several months among old time friends and relatives returning to Bartlesville Jan. 6th where, after spending only one month, she was on the 8th of Feb. stricken with paralysis lying in an unconscious condition for seven days when death came to her relief.
Interment was made temporarily in the Bartlesville cemetery, later the remains will be taken either to Atlanta. Ga., or Geneva, Ohio, for burial.
Mrs. Bowers possessed a lovely christian character having united with the M. E. church when but fourteen years of age, and had lived a beautiful consistent christian life. She leaves three sisters and two brothers to mourn her loss, Mrs. Genie B. Woods, of Terre Haute, Ind., Mrs. Elizabeth J. Stephenson, of Indianapolis, Ind., Mrs. Addie S. Tower, of Orwell, Ohio., Mr. W. T. Bowers, of Norwalk, Ohio, Mr. W. W. Bowers of Geneva, Ohio.

No winds of winter, moan."
