George Lyman Ellsworth, 79 of Manila passed away on May 19, at the Uintah Care Center.

He was born on April 11, 1930 in Leota, Utah to Milton Dixie and Florence Isabell Edwards. He married Juanita Adean Robinson on Jan. 19, 1953. He lived in Manila where he owned and operated Ellsworth Conoco Station and Garage for 24 years and Ellsworth Trucking for 27 years. He was a member of the Manila Chamber of Commerce and served as Daggett County Commissioner for two years. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He is survived by his wife Juanita Robinson Ellsworth; sons; Richard George Ellsworth (Aleta), Robert Lynn Ellsworth (Cathlene), Glenn Earl Ellsworth (Holly); daughter; Christa Lydine Ellsworth Jensen (Leon); brothers, Philo Arnold Ellsworth (MarGean), Kenneth Ray Ellsworth (Norma); sisters, Eunice Marie Ellsworth Hasselbad (Ray), Carol Dean Ellsworth Tuiono (Thomas); 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by parents; three sisters, Eudora Ellsworth, Lola Corrine Johnson (Mike), Mildred Ann Ellsworth; one brother, Merlin Robert Ellsworth (Shirley); two granddaughters, Sunshine Rose and Georgie Blossom and one grandson; Joshua Leon Jensen.

Interment in the Manila Cemetery under the direction of the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
