Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie L. Baer, widow of Horace G. Baer, former Wabash County Recorder, will be held on Monday afternoon at the home of her son, Forrest G. Baer, 414 Stitt Street. Burial will be in Falls cemetery.
Mrs. Baer died Friday afternoon at the home of a son, Wayne G. Baer, in South Bend. She had been ill for some time. The body was brought to Wabash Saturday by Wertenberger-Voreis funeral director of Laketon. Mrs. Baer, who was 73, was a native of Wabash county.
She was born June 14, 1868, the daughter of Aaron and Ellen Rager. She was married to Horace G. Baer, who died in 1933.
Survivors include three sons; Ted G Baer, Buffalo, N.Y., Wayne G. Baer, Wabash, and Forrest G. Baer, Wabash, 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild and one sister, Mrs. Joel Baer of near North Manchester.
Mrs. Baer lived in Wabash for a number of years in the home on Stitt Street in which Forrest Baer now resides.
