Death Claims Doyle Resident
John W. Custis passed away at his home in Doyle Sunday morning ar 4 o'clock. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Cora A. Custis, and two children, Ernest F. Custis of Doyle, and Mrs. Lola Jellison, Sacramento.
Mr. Custis came to the Doyle community in 1897 and has engaged in farming in that community most of the time since. He is a native of Ohio, aged 75 years.
Funeral services were held this afternoon in the Morrill Chapel by Rev. R.G. Green of Janesville. Mrs. J.C. McQueen furnished sacred music.
Interment was in the Janesville Cemetery.
The pallbearers were H.H. Sewell, Guy Jellison, R.L. Barham, John Jellison, H.E. Custis, and E.C. Lloyd.
