Thomas Laevsay Dies.
Galena, Kan., March 5.—Thomas Benton Lievsay, 72 years old, a former resident of Galena, died at the Allen nursing home in Columbus at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon.
Mr. Lievsay lived in Galena for many years, and was employed as a miner. He had lived at the Cherokee county home for the last 10 years.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the county home. Burial will be in Galena cemetery.

Lievsay Funeral Today.
Galena, Kan., March 5.—Funeral services for Thomas Benton Lievsay, 71 years old, former Galena miner, who died Sunday afternoon in the Allen nursing home at Columbus, will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the county home near Columbus. Burial will be in the Galena city cemetery. Lievsay was admitted to the county home about three years ago when blindness had left him unable to work. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Mae B. Harvey of El Monte, Calif.
