Mrs. Margaret C. Goldsboro, widow of the late Ignatius Goldsboro, departed this life Friday night at 12 o’clock at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. W. J. Luke, on Liberty Street. The deceased was in the 79th year of her age, and had been a resident of Berkley for many years. He husband will be remembered by old residents as one of the first steam engineers on the ferry line. She is survived by two grandchildren both now living in Berkley.
The funeral will be conducted today at 2 p.m. from the home of her daughter-in-law, Mrs. W.J. Luke, on Liberty Street, and the remains will be interred in Portsmouth.
