VIOLA AGNES WILLIAMS.
Viola Agnes Williams, daughter of Peter and Lousie (Aveline) Godfroy, was born in Butler township, Miami county, on Feb. 3, 1891, and passed away at 3 o'clock Thursday morning, aged thirty-one years, two months and twenty-four days. Tuberculosis was the cause of death, from which she had been a sufferer for nine months. Most of her life had been lived in the county, and it was here she was united in marriage to Arbie Williams in June, 1916, her husband 'passing to the other world about four years ago. Besides the parents she is survived by four brothers and two sisters, who are Clarence Godfroy, of Wabash county; Mrs. Frank Coiner, Sylvester Godfroy, Eva Godfroy and Lawrence Godfroy, all of Peru, and Oliver Godfroy, who resides at home with his parents. She was a grand daughter of the late Gabriel Godfroy, the last chief of the Miamis.

The deceased was a member of the Catholic church, and the funeral serv ices were held in St. Charles church Saturday morning at 9 o'clock, in charge of Rev. J. H. Guendling. Interment took place in the Godfroy cemetery in Butler township.
