Colmore Cropper Dies in Tooele
Funeral services will be held in Deseret Friday at 1 p.m. in the ward chapel for Colmore Cropper, aged 71, who died in Tooele Tuesday night of pneumonia. His body was brought to Delta Wednesday by L.N. Nickle, mortician. Mr. Cropper had suffered with an incurable disease for the past 25 years. He was born in Fillmore and later moved to Deseret with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Cropper. After he married, he lived in Provo and Eureka. Mr. Cropper was always interested in mines and mining which required him to be away from home the biggest share of his life. He had been living in Tooele for the past two years, but suffered poor health all during that time. He is survived by two brothers, Marion Cropper of Salina and Mr. Lloyd Cropper of Deseret and the following half sisters, Mrs. Georgiana Johnson of Aurora, Mrs. Hannah Ashby of American Fork, Mrs. Sebrina Reynolds of Provo, Mrs. Mary Reeve of Hinckley, Mrs. Edith Tippetts of Ephraim and Mrs. Lyle Pratt of Nephi and the following daughters, Mrs. Edna Johnson of Hinckley, Mrs. Erma Miller of Redding, Cal., Mrs. Isma Cahoon of Salt lake City and Mrs. Pearl Harrison, Spiro, Okla.
