Ray E Saddler, Sr, 67, of Everett died June 12, 1982 in a local hospital. He was born in Puyallup, Washington to Edward Wentzell Saddler and Pearl Mae Houk Saddler. He has been a resident of Washington state since WW2. He was a member of the Everett Senior Citizens, The Golden Age Kiwanis Club of Everett, VFW Post #2100, Everett, and the American Legion Post #96 of Snohomish. He was a WW2 Army Veteran.

He leaves his wife, Ellen, two sons, Ray Jr of Granite Falls and Edward of Snohomish; brother Marvin of John Day, Oregon, sister, Lucille Van Proyen of Everett; five grandchildren, one great granddaughter, numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson, William Adam Saddler.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 15, 1982 at
1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Purdy and Dawson Funeral Home in Snohomish, Wa. Interment will follow in the G.A.R.Cemetery in Snohoimsh.

Visitation will be until 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday 10 a.m. through service time.
