SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services celebrating the life of
Mr. Hubert "Bob" Allen, 83, will be held 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 14, 2006 at Rose-Neath Marshall Street Chapel. Officiating will be Ray Boswell. Interment will follow in Forest Park Cemetery, St. Vincent Avenue.
Mr. Allen was a retired schoolteacher with the Caddo Parish School Board. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Shreveport where he served as Deacon and was a member of the North Shreveport Lions Club.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife Dorothy Allen: two sons, Chester Herring and wife Sheila and Tommy Herring and wife Debbie; grandson, Rick Fisher and granddaughter Staci Herring.
