Reva Marie Simmons Ruppe, 85, died at her home in Naples, UT, Feb. 6, 1994.

She was born Apr. 11, 1908 in Sunnyside, Carbon County, UT, to James Alma and Rosa Jane Bryce Simmons. She married Cecil Putnam "Mike" Ruppe June 1, 1928 in Price, UT. The marriage was Solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple June 9, 1932.

Reva was an LPN at the Uintah County Hospital for many years. She was an active member of the Naples Second Ward, Relief Society visiting teacher, teacher in Relief Society, YWMIA teacher, Primary teacher, Sunday School teacher, and an active temple worker.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brothers, Stanley and Scott Simmons; sister Wanda Jones, and a great-grandchild, Tishawn Alisha Bunn.

She is survived by children: Janet (Alan) Clark of Rexberg, ID; Shirley (Carl) Oldaker; Larry; Jack (Reita); Clyde (Alice) Ruppe, all of Naples, UT; Gladys (Fran) Peterson of Jensen, UT; 37 grandchildren; 75 great-grandchildren. Brothers, LaVell Simmons, of Vernal,UT; Wayne (Betty) Simmons, of Portland, OR; Elwin (Velda) Simmons, of Yakima, WA; sisters, Mildred Farikoff, of San Diego, CA; Joyce Coben, of Santee, CA; and Jean (Bill) Beatty, of San Diego, CA.
