They were the parents of Nellie (1872-1933 MT, George W Lovell) and Henry (1877). Oscar died at his brother-in-laws (Jerome Baxter) home. In 1885 Census Henry Adams with living with Jerome.

The deceased was much respected by all who knew him. Some 2 years ago his wife died of the same disease and he had passed to the other world to meet her. He was a member of the Grant City Lodge of Masons, and the funeral services were conducted under their auspices a very large number of people joining to pay their tribute in his memory.
