Death of Mrs. Martin Dahlberg.
The home of Martin Dahiberg in Belle River was sadly bereaved by the death of his wife last Friday. Mrs. Dahlberg had been seriously ill for a year past, undergoing a partial operation for cancer at the Mayo hospital in Rochester last September.
Physicians could only tempotatoey relieve her condition. Mrs. Dahlberg was in her fifty-fourth year and was born in Sweden. She was married to Mr. Dahlberg in the old country in 1889 and soon afterwards left that country for America, first settling at Melrose.
Ten years later they moved to their present home in Belle River.
Be-sides her husband Mrs. Dahlberg leaves
to mourn her departure five children, Edwin, Andrew, Albin, Agnes and Helen, all of whom are at home.
The
funeral was held Sunday afternoon from the Fahlun church of which Mrs. Dahlberg was a member. Rev. P. J. Ording officiated. The pall bearers were John Green, L. E. Olson, Carl Hanson, Otto Larson, Lewis Frisk and Herman Gerband.
CARD OF THANKS.
To the many friends and neighbors who so kindly assisted us during the sickness and at the death of our beloved wife and mother we wish to express our sincere thanks.
M. Dahlberg and children.
