Arthur W. Plumb Dead.
Arthur W. Plumb died yesterday at 11 o'clock at his home, seven miles southwest of Reading, of stoppage of the bowels.
Mr. Plumb was born December 31, 1850, at Maryville, Ohio, and came to Lyon County in 1857 with his parents. They settled near Emporia, and Arthur Plumb spent many years in this community. He was married May 5, 1878, to Miss Elnora Wheeler. Mr. Plumb was a member of the Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, three children, Luella, Howard, and Chester, all at home, and two sisters, Mrs. Perry Edwards and Miss Ellen Plumb, of Emporia, and one brother, George Plumb, also of Emporia.
Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. A. L. Stevens, of Reading, at the home, Friday at 11 o'clock, and at the Methodist Church at reading at 2:30.
