d/o Paul James Algerine COLSON & Mary Ann Elizabeth SAPP. Married to Willie H. CRIBBS. She is buried as Vianna S. Cribbs, and is buried beside Willie H. Cribbs.

Sylvania and her boyfriend, husband to be, had to be chaperoned in order to date. So, Missouri, her sister, my great grandmother, and Willie's father, "Billy" Cribbs, a preacher, chaperoned them. They went out buggy riding. At this time, Billy Cribbs was a widower and ended up marrying Missouri Colson. Sylvania and Willie were heard to say (according to my grandmother) that if they had known that Missouri and Billy would get married, they (Willie & Sylvania) would never have dated. So, I am glad that they did, because Missouri had my grandmother, Lera Loree, who had my father.
