s/o Benjamin Martin COLSON & Mary Ann Maranda DANIEL, married Ezylphia LEWIS, d/o Wiley LEWIS & Rhoda CANNON. He was a Cobbler. Buried as M. N. C. Colson by his mother.

Martin and Zylphia had the following children:

1. John E. J. Colson, b. 18 Sep 1876 in Tattnall Co., GA

2. James Tilton Colson, b. 08 Mar 1878 in Tattnall Co., GA

3. William Benjamin Colson, married to Martha Ann "Doll" Sikes, d/o Josiah Sikes and Elizabeth Sapp Sikes. Benjamin and Doll are buried in the Canoochee Church Cemetery, Evans Co., GA; Sect. D.

4. Robert Columbus Colson, married to Nicie Elizabeth Duffield, buried in section B6. They had one son, Dewey Colson, b. 11 Aug 1914; d. 29 Apr 1969, buried in section B6 also.

5. Marjory Maranda Colson, married to Jesse R. Moseley, All three children are also buried in this section, Infant daughter, J. E. Moseley, and James Rufus Moseley.

6. Sudie Mae Colson, b. 26 Jun 1889.
