John P. Lipskey, a resident of the Casper area sine 1937, died Wednesday evening in Memorial Hospital following a week's illness. He was 68.
Born June 22, 1893 at Ewing, Neb., Mr. Lipskey came to Wyoming in 1925 and homesteaded near Buffalo. He was employed by several ranches in the area as a sheepherder. His last employer was the Home Sheep Co. in 1959.
Mr. Lipskey lived at 616 Divine Ave. He was a member of the Casper Moose Lodge.
Survivors include three brothers, Joe, of Alvo, Neb., Felix, of Adel, Ore., and Bernie, of Portland, Ore. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Rose Shoryer, of Casper, Mrs. Ray Andrews, of Middle'town, N. Y., and Mrs. L. C. Brimmer, of Wapato, Wash., and eight nieces and 11 nephews.
Services will be under the direction of the Horstman-Gay Mortuary with interment in Natrona Memorial Gardens. Details will be announced later.
